How I Outline My Work
Therapy is more than a job to me; it is my dearest challenge. I have proven over and over that leading an extraordinary life is possible for everyone. And nothing satisfies me more than helping people find this out for themselves.
Through my extensive training, I have covered the three main modalities of Counselling Psychology; Psychodynamic, Person-centered & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Through experience (& previous research), I have found CBT to be a very efffective method of therapy; assisting clients in changing the way they behave and think. Notwithstanding, Schema Therapy is another method of therapy(which, likewise uses CBT techniques) I use for longer standing issues, which may require long term therapy, rather than short term (short term being approx.12 sessions). The length of thearpy is collaboratively agreed with the client, according to their needs.
